This review has been updated as of 8/16/2018, I go to Tony's Town Square often and always have something different! So let's begin, shall we? Ever had a plate of food that was so good, you literally thought about it up to a week later? That was my experience with Tony’s. I’ve actually been here three times. The first time was about 3 years ago for my mom’s 50th birthday. The second time was more recent, about a year ago for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween event. The third was two weeks ago with my hubby, for a couple's vacation. We were seated fairly quickly the first two times, (we had reservations) regardless of how packed it was. The third time, we ran into a bit of a hiccup. Apparently we were called and didn't hear our names, and we waited nearly half an hour to be seated. The manager came out & quickly apologized because we insisted we hadn't been called; we were sitting right in front of the check in area the entire time. Either way, the manager sat us immediately after that. They have a very nice waiting area with couches and a T.V playing disney movies, so I don’t believe waiting was that bad. At least we have some solid entertainment! The ambience of the restaurant is amazing. It’s sincerely authentic & so carefully detailed down to the uniform of the cast members. Although it does have a family fun vibe, it is also a great restaurant for romantic dinner dates. The whole place is manicured to perfection. My hubby & I took advantage of the outdoor seating area our last trip and we were able to see the parade while we were eating! It was the most magical accident ever. Bathrooms were really clean & beautiful, they were really good about refilling drinks & the bread basket. Our waiters on all occasions met the Disney standard as far as spectacular service & attitude. The best part was definitely the food. I got a margarita pizza the first time, and a traditional spaghetti & meatballs the second time. The third time I got the chicken parmesan. All left me dreaming about them till days later! I have to say my favorite thing was the calamari we had as an appetizer. It was heaven!!!! My mother also has a peanut allergy, which was not an issue for them at all. They brought her a allergy friendly menu and catered very well to her needs. (This is an obvious bonus, allergies suck.) All in all, I’d rate Tony’s a solid 5 stars. Excellent service & phenomenal food that I would come back to in a heartbeat! Thanks Disney!
