This is the 5th Disney world resort I’ve ever stayed at, let’s just say Disney never disappoints. This one wasn’t my favorite but I stayed in a two bedroom villa and it was absolutely gorgeous. The shower & tub were beautiful and the water temperature/pressure was perfect. Beds were comfortable (sofa bed was a bit more firm, still great though), it had a full kitchen with everything you needed and a balcony. The amenities were fantastic! Arcades, basketball and tennis courts, 3 pools, and even golf was available at this resort. In fact the hotel is really geared towards golfers; they have a store and everything. They had movies under the stars which is also one of my favorite things about the resorts. There were a few cons during my stay that i wasn’t very happy about. The only form of transportation to the parks is by bus & they tend to get really busy. They have a boat you can take to Disney springs, wish they had one to get to a park! (I’m spoiled though) Another incident I had was that I paid the complete stay when i checked in, just for someone to call me a day before i checked out to tell me there was a balance left that needed to be paid. I thought i paid everything at check in so i called back to figure out what it was. Turns out they didn’t charge me for parking, and it wasn’t even that they were disorganized that pissed me off, it was the way i was treated. The customer service i received at this hotel was definitely not up to Disney world’s usual quality & was borderline disrespectful. The cast member insisted i go pay the tab immediately, even though it should’ve been charged when i checked in & they even asked if i was in my own vehicle. Sounds like a mistake THEY made at check in, and were later forcing me to pay IMMEDIATELY. Like it was this super urgent matter. I don’t pay $100 a night for this hotel & that service was uncalled for. Anyway, i spoke to the manager and she handled the situation very well, so i still decided they deserve 4 stars. This resort is huge and you may have to do a tad bit (or more than a tad bit) of walking to get every where but I was prepared & I loved that parking was right in front of whatever building your room is in. The pools provide towels for you & there’s a bar in each one in case you want snacks and drinks. The resort has 3 restaurants, the one I went to was artist’s table or artist’s palette, something like that & it was great! All in all, I would come back to this hotel if the wilderness lodge or boardwalk was full. Not a bad option at all! :)
