It was so nice to have a Disney standard vacation without driving all the way to Orlando. It was a really pleasant change to have a beach vacation without the hectic-ness of the theme parks and the tourists.

 My family tried Boma for dinner the first night we were there and it was exquisite! It’s an authentic African style dinner buffet. It’s kid friendly & themed quite nicely.
Who would’ve known that coupon cutter Desy would one day willingly pay $800 a night for a hotel in Disney World? Yup, you read right- $800. Oh, and I would do it again.
This is the 5th Disney world resort I’ve ever stayed at, let’s just say Disney never disappoints.   From the moment you step foot into the property you are treated like royalty. They valet your car, give you leis when you arrive and take your bags upstairs for you. The hotel is gorgeous and sincerely feels like you’re on a tropical vacation. This is why it's so expensive! However, going during April, May, August or September is the most affordable time of the year to go.
Disney's Art of Animation resort is actually considered a moderate resort, even though it's walking distance from Pop Century. The resort is absolutely breathtaking, and consists of Disney Art inside out. It's divided into 4 sections: Cars, Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, and Lion King. I stayed in Finding Nemo and loved it!
