I actually won a few nights here because of a timeshare presentation I did and I was not pleased, to say the least. Check in took FOREVER- At least 30 minutes. When we finally got our room, we had to change rooms because ours didn't have a curtain and privacy is important to me. Then our phone didn't work in our room so we couldn't call the front desk and ask them why our wifi wasn't working. Wifi not working was a huge deal to me because I was planning to work on this trip. It was a huge inconvenience to have to leave to Starbucks for wifi. The rooms were good. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the location. The fact that it's across the street from Fun Spot is super convenient and you can totally just walk over and have a good time without breaking a sweat. The most disappointing thing was the customer service. My hubby and I woke up super early and were at the ticket/concierge desk right when they said they were going to open. They opened 20 minutes late and then told us the tickets would cost more if bought at the hotel V.S at the parks, makes no sense. The employee that got their late gave us major attitude also. There are tons of yummy places to eat in the area. it's about 20 minutes from the Disney parks but 10 minutes or less from the universal & island parks. We could see volcano bay from the window of our room. We didn't pay for this hotel, but I believe it's normally $70 or less per night. For that price, the customer service is understandable. I wouldn't come back because I know better hotels for cheaper than this and closer to Disney, but overall the value for the price is not too bad. This is a solid 3 star hotel.
